Hebburn Town Juniors FC was founded in July 2003 by a group of enthusiastic parents, whose aim was to provide training and football opportunities for young people within the community.
Charter Standard Club
In June 2008 the club attained FA Charter Standard Status, which is a best practice guide that sets the standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people.
Our club keeps growing
When Hebburn Town Juniors FC was founded it entered four teams into the competitive league, we have an amazing eighteen teams in total. The eighteen teams comprise of 14 small-sided teams (7-a-side and 9-a-side),and four 11-a-side teams, one of which is a girls team representing the club in the Chase Holmes Youth League and Russell Foster Youth Leagues respectively.
Hebburn Tots
In addition to our competitive teams we also provide football opportunities for children in reception class and year one class at school who are to young to play competitive football, we do this through our well-established Hebburn Tots sessions.
Hebburn Tots allows the younger children to learn the basics of the game whilst having great fun within a non-pressurised environment and gives the club a foundation to grow future talent.
We are proud to announce that since the creation of our Hebburn Tots sessions we have had over 100 children move up the ladder from Tots to play in our competitive teams.
Coaching Staff
Most of our coaching staff are made up of parents who's children come along and enjoy to play the beautiful game and they all give up a hell of a lot of time to make the club/teams run as smoothly as possible. All of our coaching staff have acquired the minimum of the FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate in Football, First Aid Trained, Child Protection Trained and are fully police Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checked.
Feel free to browse through the teams section to get to find out a little more about all of our coaching staff within each team.
Lots of Activities
Hebburn Town Juniors FC has a lot to offer its members and families and friends. Along with the football we also have themed parties for Halloween and Christmas for our younger members with an annual event for our older players. We also like to arrange cinema and panto visits each year and weather permitting hold a Club Summer Fun Day. We also send teams to national football tournaments to represent the club all at subsidised costs and last season we had teams travel to Skegness and Blackpool.
Of course without the continued support from all of our members, parents and sponsors with fundraising, bag packs; social nights then none of these things could happen.
Thanks for all the support.
