Hebburn Town Juniors are pleased to announce that we are now an official Collection point for 'Boots For Africa'.

Help Boots for Africa collect and deliver thousands of cleaned up, tied up and paired up pairs of used football boots to the children of Africa, in association with founding partner McDonald's and Sheffield F.C, officially recognised as the world's first football club.

Football helps to build communities, develop social understanding and improve the lives of millions of people around the planet - something we should all share. The 'Boots for Africa' Appeal will help to develop the skills and fitness of aspiring disadvantaged children, and provide more children with the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful game.

"The Boots for Africa campaign is a fantastic initiative and one we applaud at FIFA as it continues our aims of ensuring football is made available to all and helping to build a better future."

Sepp Blatter, President of FIFA

"I fully support the Boots for Africa Appeal and I wish them great success in what is a very worthy cause. Providing boots to the children of Africa will not only inspire the next generation of football heroes, but ensure that everyone is given the opportunity to take part in sport. The 2010 World Cup was staged in South Africa for the first ever time and football was used by the country to help build a better life for local communities."
